Not sure I understood it. But it was interesting, I’ll give it that!

An import from letterboxd, including all movies I add to my diary and sometimes review.
Carnage: Swallowing the Past, 2017 – ★★★★½
This is the future I want to see.
Doctor Who: State of Decay, 1980 – ★★★
Watched on Tuesday September 7, 2021.
Doctor Who: Full Circle, 1980 – ★★½
Watched on Monday September 6, 2021.
Doctor Who: Meglos, 1980 – ★½
I can’t believe they had Jacqueline Hill back but instead of casting her as Barbara again and having a wonderful reunion with The Doctor they make her a priestess. It’s like if Billy Piper returned to the show and instead of casting her as Rose she is playing someone different… oh wait, bad example ?
The story was awful, as were the special effects. Tom Baker was delightful as always though and I’m really warming up to Romana II.
Doctor Who: Shada, 2017 – ★★★½
This story is almost legendary, having never been finished but then been recreated. Shame it’s not Adams’ best work. City of Death was much better.
Doctor Who: The Horns of Nimon, 1980 – ★★½
Watched on Tuesday August 24, 2021.
Doctor Who: Nightmare of Eden, 1979 – ★★
Watched on Tuesday August 24, 2021.
Doctor Who: The Creature from the Pit, 1979 – ★★★½
Doctor Who versus the cock and balls. I actually thought this was well scripted and well acted on the whole! I really liked it.
Friday the 13th Part 2, 1981 – ★★★½
Watched on Friday August 20, 2021.
Hellraiser, 1987 – ★
Watched in anticipation of Pinhead being added to Dead by Daylight. Did not like.
You’re Next, 2011 – ★★★
Watched on Thursday August 12, 2021.
Black Christmas, 1974 – ★★★★
Watched on Thursday August 12, 2021.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, 1974 – ★★★½
Watched on Tuesday August 10, 2021.
A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge, 1985 – ★★
It's either very gay or very homophobic, not sure which really.
Doctor Who: City of Death, 1979 – ★★★★½
The best episode of Classic Who yet, and it is a classic! Absolutely brilliant!
Doctor Who: Destiny of the Daleks, 1979 – ★½
This review may contain spoilers.
Oh dear this is terrible - the Daleks are constantly referred to as “robots” and “computers” but they are creatures in tanks! So the whole plot doesn’t make sense. Plus Davros sounds wrong and Romana’s regeneration is insultingly bad.
Fear Street: 1666, 2021 – ★★★★
A satisfying end to the trilogy of movies, they were very good!
Doctor Who: The Armageddon Factor, 1979 – ★½
Massive anticlimax to the series-long story arc (if you can call it that!). Just bad.
Fear Street: 1978, 2021 – ★★★★
I really loved Part 2 of the trilogy, a much better atmosphere!
