We All Hear Stories in the Dark – ★★★★
Although I have finished the book, I haven’t read all the stories yet - the nature of it is to jump around and read a random collection of stories.
It’s a fun gimmick but I’d actually prefer to just read it all the way through so I don’t miss any. I set out to do that but now I changed my mind and just want to move on to other books.
The stories are hit and miss, but all in all an excellent collection of weird and wonderful short stories.
Dust (Silo, #3) – ★★★★
The best in the series! Lots of action, characters you can root for, and lots of answers. A great ending, although I still have a few unanswered questions!
Shift (Silo, #2) – ★★★★
It’s a very good book but I read it after watching the first series of the TV show, looking for more answers. I found a few answers but not all the ones I want. I’m not sure there even are answers. I’ll keep going, onto the next book….
Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures: Lost Warriors – ★★★
A bit of a mixed bad. The last story, Monsters in Metropolis was definitely the best part.
