Sorry I haven’t posted in a while (about 5 days to be exact!) but have been very busy! Mostly I’ve been playing The Sims: Makin’ Magic. It was only released a few days ago but I’ve had it for ages thanks to the LAN 🙂 it’s quite a good addon, a bit surreal and sometimes utterly pointless – such as the “Magic Mood” charm which raises your Sim’s mood slightly. After all the effort you went into getting the ingredients for the spell, it’s not very effective and you’d have been better off not doing it at all! Also, Wally O’Wisp the magic cleaner saves you what… §50 for a maid’s work? Well not after spending time and money collecting the ingredients! The only really useful spells are the permanent ones, like “LoveStruck” (fall in love with any Sim.. but it’s been done before by the genie), “A friend indeed” (turn your pet into a human.. thats a great one) and “Age of Instant” (the best spell there is… turn your kid Sim into an adult!). The game would be so much better if once you have unlocked a spell you could use it forever! As soon as there’s a cheat/transmog for infinite ingredients, I will be happy 🙂
ANYWAY enough about The Sims! You can tell it’s taking over my life! Last night was Halloween – which meant the halloween party!! 😀 Jenny dressed as a devil, and Laura as an angel! I didn’t dress up – was a bit too short notice really (lol, ok I couldn’t be bothered to go into town) but I wore my “Deadly” tee which gives me some credit lol. Next year I’m defo going all the way with a costume, have it planned already! Took some pics of Jen and Laura which will go up soon…
First we went to LEVEL2 which was kinda RnB-ish, was fun to look at everyone’s costumes, but not much going on on the dancefloor! We checked out Mondo as J&L hadn’t been there yet (I had – LGB was held there and we eat there sometimes at lunch) and I can’t really remember what kind of music was playing in there! Anyway after a few drinks we headed down to Underground – defo the best venue 🙂
The music was CHEEZY 🙂 !! and some classic halloween tunes like “Thriller” and “Ghostbusters”! Laura copped off with a nun, was so funny, they were at it for about 6 songs! They had competitions for best costume (The Smurfs were really good but could not beat the scary monster – he genuinly scared us!! Was freaky!) and other competitions like the sexual positions game, as seen on Big Brother.
As the night went on, we danced away and it was really fun 🙂 by the end he was playing his typical “hardcore cheese” such as The Birdie Song, Prince of Bell Air and Saved by the Bell 🙂 we walked home and hugged Jenny goodbye – she’s going home to see her family this weekend (and the weekend after! So she won’t see much of Terry!) and we said we would keep our wristbands on for as long as possible lol, so hopefully can get in free to next event (unless they change the colour of the bands!!)
I bought “Cube“, one of my favourite DVDs for £5 the other day! Bargain! So have watched that about 3 times already! Watched “Ring” – the American version is *so* much better IMHO, seeing Ring 2 if Jenny kept the tape it was on.
Also I have a cool new Burberry hat (Burberry and Essex go together like… something that goes together) I know someone who has good deals on Burberry things, so got some of my Xmas pressies sorted 😉 take a look at my hat rofl.
How very 1991! LOL. More pics coming soon in the new pic section, will be online in a few days!
Better go now, Dad is making me work on the reffley.com website!!! Argh!! LOL.
