Best weekend of my life?

As you probably know by now, if you’ve been reading my blog, Terry came to stay this weekend. It was most likely the best weekend of my life, lol. It’s the longest time I’ve spent with Terry, almost 4 whole days without losing sight of him, and it really was great. I learnt a lot about him, he had a chance to meet my friends (and they got to see who I’d been going on about for the past month..), we had lots of time on our own and also did some cool things. Here’s a run-down of what’s been happening:

Friday
Before Terry came, I cleaned up my room especially. Did all the laundry Thursday afternoon, and Friday morning I tidied my room, hooved the floor and put some stuff away. Pat was really surprised how tidy my room was and how big it looked when there wasn’t any clutter on the floor! We drove to the station to meet Terry, only getting very slightly lost, and after waiting for what seemed like an eternity he walked off the train. Pat seemed to be a bit weird with him – later he told me it’s cos he expected Terry to be camp, and said his voice was much deeper than he expected LOL! We drove home, and Pat just dropped us off and left, not wanting to get in the way of our little reunion lol.

The first thing I noticed is how different he looks. Someone who had seen him often (ie. Vilius) probably would not notice, but as I haven’t seen him for over a month I thought he had changed a lot! For one thing he’s lost some weight (not saying he was fat or anything) and I personally think he’s looking SO fine, lol. For some reason he took that as an insult, but I assured him, you tell any girl they’ve lost weight and they’ll thank you for it. Also, I don’t know maybe it’s just because I haven’t seen him for so long, but he seemed different. It was like I didn’t know him when I first saw him, which was really funny, but it’s not like that anymore. Oh and I LOVE how he looks without gel in his hair, yes I’ve seen him with no gel before but now his hair is longer it makes him look SO cute, but he refuses to be seen without it lol.

Friday night we ate a pizza and chips (which I cooked, was quite nice) before meeting up with Laura (Jenny was at home, but promised to be back for Sunday so she could meet Terry) and going to the SU bar, because it was cheesy night!! I was horrified when Terry lit up a cigarette >:( especially as he had practically quit while he was ill. But he assured me he didn’t have any on him, and wouldn’t do it much. Grr.

We went to cheesy tunes – Terry didn’t appreciate the true greatness of the cheese – but me and Laura sure loved it πŸ™‚ would have been even more fun if Jenny was there too, could have ganged up on Terry and *made* him like the music lol. But he still danced, and wasn’t acting too straight (makes a change! lol)

Saturday
The main event of Saturday was seeing the Matrix 3 – after much protest (I would rather see Finding Nemo again) but Terry just had to see it. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but was still pretty pants πŸ˜›

Sunday
Our last full day together πŸ™ Jenny didn’t get here until 6pm, then we watched Grease (T didn’t like it) and The Lion King Special Edition (T loved it, hehe). Then we just chatted for a while, and then spent the last night together (where we had a landmark event happen which I will not go into here!!)

Monday
Terry was originally going to go home early, but instead we went to Tesco first with Pat, Dan and Steve. Before going he stole my Alienware teeshirt (he always wanted that off me, lol, and was wearing it later when I rang him!) which was kinda sweet. I promised to go home on 28th, so can spend time with him, Katie and Vilius. He said he will try and get time off work to come down another weekend really soon πŸ™‚ !!

All in all, was a GREAT weekend, and now I’m positive me and Terry are going to last for a really long time! Been over 4 months now, which is pretty much my longest relationship (not counting the confusion with Lee) and is his longest / only real relationship lol. Must be love! πŸ™‚
